He has shaped product strategy and development at Sybase (SAP), CrossWorlds, IBM, Syndera, and Voxify, defining architectures, building patented frameworks, and guiding teams through innovation, growth, and acquisition.

His work has ranged from database systems and distributed microservices to AI, IoT, and full-stack web development. Suresh applies this depth of experience to healthcare technology through Maarge, creating solutions that improve outcomes, support caregivers, and strengthen communities.

Kiru Pakkirisamy — Full bio

Kiru Pakkirisamy leads technology strategy and product development at Maarge. With deep experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, data platforms, and healthcare technology, he brings a practical, forward-looking approach to building secure and scalable digital solutions. His career includes leadership roles at companies such as Sybase, Business Objects, SuccessFactors, Nielsen, Splunk, CarrierIQ, and Cityblock.

Throughout his career, Kiru has led major cloud migrations, built high-performing data platforms, and developed secure systems for complex enterprise environments. His work has included architecting HIPAA-compliant healthcare data lakes, implementing resilient multi-region cloud infrastructure, and exploring agentic AI solutions that can work alongside electronic health records and other healthcare data systems.

At Maarge, Kiru is focused on using AI, cloud technologies, and thoughtful product design to create a trusted digital care companion for individuals, caregivers, and families. He is committed to building technology that protects sensitive information, simplifies fragmented healthcare experiences, and helps people take a more active role in their own care journeys. Kiru holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Anna University in Chennai, India.

Eric Bottger — Full bio

Healthcare technology sales and strategy leader with more than 20 years of experience driving growth for innovative digital health companies. He has led enterprise sales, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives with organizations including Optum, Source Medical, Ayasdi, and Amwell, helping bring data-driven healthcare solutions to providers and health systems.

Eric specializes in building strategic partnerships, developing scalable sales strategies, and helping emerging healthcare technologies reach the organizations and patients who benefit most.

More recently, personal experience navigating care for aging loved ones has deepened Eric’s understanding of the challenges families face coordinating care at home. He brings that perspective to Maarge’s mission of empowering caregivers and improving how care is managed beyond the clinic.

Ubaid — Full bio

Ubaid leads engineering and development at Maarge, bringing together a rare mix of technical rigor, empathy, and purpose. As both architect and hands-on developer, he builds the systems that power Maarge’s HIPAA-compliant digital care platform—ensuring reliability, privacy, and a seamless experience for caregivers and families.

With a background in mechanical and materials engineering and experience as a lecturer at NED University, Ubaid approaches technology with the precision of an engineer and the heart of an educator. His work bridges complex backend systems with intuitive, human-centered design that simplifies caregiving collaboration.

At Maarge, Ubaid drives the development of core features that keep caregivers connected, reduce medication errors, and help people live safely and independently at home. Outside of work, he mentors young engineers and leads personal development programs, inspiring others to build technology that truly serves people.

Rommel — Full bio

Rommel Patel is a Product Engineer at Maarge, where he helps bring the company’s vision of humane, intuitive healthcare technology to life. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Computer Programming, Rommel brings a scientific mindset grounded in research and human behavior to his work. His early experience in a hematopoietic stem cell lab fostered both a deep respect for health sciences and now a meticulous, research-driven approach to building products that people can trust.

At Maarge, Rommel sits at the intersection of design and engineering—translating UI concepts into functional, seamless experiences that connect caregivers and families without friction. Guided by his background in neuroscience and psychology, he approaches interface design and integration with empathy and intention, ensuring that the platform feels accessible to users of all technical levels and health backgrounds.

Rommel’s commitment to the mission is personal. After his mother returned home from a hospitalization in the ICU, he and his family used Maarge to coordinate her complex medication schedule, an experience that reaffirmed his belief in the product’s power to ease real-world caregiving burdens. For him, every design decision is a chance to make someone’s health journey a little simpler and a little lighter.
