Uma Subramanian — Full bio
Uma Subramanian is the visionary behind Maarge, where she leads the mission, strategy, and day-to-day operations. Drawing on deep experience in integrating technologies and leading product development at Sybase (SAP), CrossWorlds, and IBM, Uma brings a human-centered, problem-solving approach to health and caregiving.
Her own journeys—both as a caregiver (remote and in person) and as a person managing health challenges—sparked the idea for Maarge. She recognized how fragmented tools, data silos, and lack of coordination create undue burdens on caregivers and their loved ones. Her goal is to build intuitive, accessible solutions that ease the emotional and operational load of caregiving and self-care.
At Maarge, Uma is committed to advancing the role of technology in improving quality of life. She focuses on designing systems that support caregivers, foster resilience, and empower individuals to live safely and independently at home. With her leadership, Maarge aims to become an essential partner in caregiving ecosystems—trusted, seamless, and deeply rooted in empathy.
